Sweet Sunday

This Sunday we made Torta de Laranja. It's a moist orange cake which in the end is rolled up. It was the first time I made such a cake. It got a little messy at the end, but it was delicious!

Last week there was also a dessert, a chocolate cake! It was prepared by M on Monday since it was a special occasion, G's birthday. Party day again on Wednesday, M's birthday. It was a busy week, so busy that there wasn't enough time to come here to say hello to you guys.

Cinnamon Biscuits

This weekend was rainy and a bit chilly. What better excuse to head to the kitchen shortly after Sunday's lunch and bake a bunch of cinnamon biscuits. What was the result of such a good idea, you ask? I tell you, two and a half jars of delicious clouds and a wonderful smell throughout the house.
